From here, the trail goes through a coniferous forest and after approximately 30 minutes, it opens up into grassland.

Turn right from the meadow and post hiking for about 20 minutes, reach another wooden stream crossing. Reach the other side of this stream and after treading further for around 10 minutes, notice the track going inside a jungle. Negotiate a gruelling climb to reach yet another pasture land, followed by an ascent to the top of a hill. From atop it, the path comes swirling down its slopes till you reach the third rivulet. Cross it to reach Tunda Bhuj and enjoy an incredible overnight stay in tent.

This stretch of the trek to Pin Parvati Pass is as scenic as others on the journey. Enjoy an easy and level walk for about half-an-hour and at the end of it cross a babbling stream via a wooden bridge. Beyond the crossing, the trail climbs rapidly for around 15 minutes, and thereafter an hour-long easy ascent has to be made. At the end of this climb through rocky landscape, the splendid Parvati River is seen. The slopes here are laden with lush grass, wild flowers and rocks.

Post making the descent towards the floor of the river, cross it by the means of a makeshift cable car. On reaching the other side of the stream, keep walking in a straight line on relatively flatter land. After approximately 30 minutes of easy treading, reach Thakur Kuan to stay overnight in tent.

Keep walking through big rocks along the right edge of the valley. Ascend a high mountain ridge and after descending from it, turn left. Further ahead on the expedition, climb another ridge, behind which lies Mantalai – your camping ground for the night. Keep on the trail that goes along the left side of the Parvati Valley and later climb the third ridge.
